The mpage utility takes plain text files or PostScript(TM) documents as input, reduces the size of the text, and prints the files on a PostScript printer with several pages on each sheet of paper. Mpage is very useful for viewing large printouts without using up lots of paper. Mpage supports many different layout options for the printed pages.
libmpeg2 is a free library for decoding mpeg-2 and mpeg-1 video streams. It is released under the terms of the GPL license. mpeg2dec is a test program for libmpeg2. It decodes mpeg-1 and mpeg-2 video streams, and also includes a demultiplexer for mpeg-1 and mpeg-2 program streams. The libmpeg2 source code is always distributed in the mpeg2dec package, to make it easier for people to test it.
The MPFR library is a C library for multiple-precision floating-point computations with "correct rounding". The MPFR is efficient and also has a well-defined semantics. It copies the good ideas from the ANSI/IEEE-754 standard for double-precision floating-point arithmetic (53-bit mantissa). MPFR is based on the GMP multiple-precision library.

MPICH2 is a high-performance and widely portable implementation of the MPI standard (both MPI-1 and MPI-2). This release has all MPI-2.2 functions and features required by the standard with the exeption of support for the "external32" portable I/O format and user-defined data representations for I/O. The mpich2 binaries in this RPM packages were configured to use the default process manager (Hydra) using the default device (ch3). The ch3 device was configured with support for the nemesis channel that allows for shared-memory and TCP/IP sockets based communication. This build also include support for using the 'module environment' to select which MPI implementation to use when multiple implementations are installed. If you want MPICH2 support to be automatically loaded, you need to install the mpich2-autoload package.
