The dosfstools package includes the mkdosfs and dosfsck utilities, which respectively make and check MS-DOS FAT filesystems on hard drives or on floppies.
Doxygen can generate an online class browser (in HTML) and/or a reference manual (in LaTeX) from a set of documented source files. The documentation is extracted directly from the sources. Doxygen can also be configured to extract the code structure from undocumented source files.
Doxywizard is a GUI for creating and editing configuration files that are used by doxygen.
dracut contains tools to create bootable initramfses for the Linux kernel. Unlike other implementations, dracut hard-codes as little as possible into the initramfs. dracut contains various modules which are driven by the event-based udev. Having root on MD, DM, LVM2, LUKS is supported as well as NFS, iSCSI, NBD, FCoE with the dracut-network package.
This package provides the configuration to turn on the rescue initramfs generation with dracut.
This package requires everything which is needed to build a generic all purpose initramfs with network support with dracut.
The drpm package provides a library for making, reading and applying deltarpms, compatible with the original deltarpm packages.
The e2fsprogs package contains a number of utilities for creating, checking, modifying, and correcting any inconsistencies in second, third and fourth extended (ext2/ext3/ext4) filesystems. E2fsprogs contains e2fsck (used to repair filesystem inconsistencies after an unclean shutdown), mke2fs (used to initialize a partition to contain an empty ext2 filesystem), debugfs (used to examine the internal structure of a filesystem, to manually repair a corrupted filesystem, or to create test cases for e2fsck), tune2fs (used to modify filesystem parameters), and most of the other core ext2fs filesystem utilities. You should install the e2fsprogs package if you need to manage the performance of an ext2, ext3, or ext4 filesystem.
E2fsprogs-libs contains libe2p and libext2fs, the libraries of the e2fsprogs package. These libraries are used to directly access ext2/3/4 filesystems from userspace.
Ethernet bridge tables is a firewalling tool to transparently filter network traffic passing a bridge. The filtering possibilities are limited to link layer filtering and some basic filtering on higher network layers. This tool is the userspace control for the bridge and ebtables kernel components (built by default in Fedora kernels). The ebtables tool can be used together with the other Linux filtering tools, like iptables. There are no known incompatibility issues.
