The dateutil module provides powerful extensions to the standard datetime module available in Python.
The aim of the decorator module is to simplify the usage of decorators for the average programmer, and to popularize decorators usage giving examples of useful decorators, such as memoize, tracing, redirecting_stdout, locked, etc. The core of this module is a decorator factory called decorator.
The Docutils project specifies a plaintext markup language, reStructuredText, which is easy to read and quick to write. The project includes a python library to parse rST files and transform them into other useful formats such as HTML, XML, and TeX as well as commandline tools that give the enduser access to this functionality. Currently, the library supports parsing rST that is in standalone files and PEPs (Python Enhancement Proposals). Work is underway to parse rST from Python inline documentation modules and packages.
Entry points are a way for Python packages to advertise objects with some common interface. The most common examples are console_scripts entry points, which define shell commands by identifying a Python function to run. The entrypoints module contains functions to find and load entry points.
Python 3.4 introduced official support for enumerations. This is a backport of that feature to Python 3.3, 3.2, 3.1, 2.7, 2.5, 2.5, and 2.4. An enumeration is a set of symbolic names (members) bound to unique, constant values. Within an enumeration, the members can be compared by identity, and the enumeration itself can be iterated over. This module defines two enumeration classes that can be used to define unique sets of names and values: Enum and IntEnum. It also defines one decorator, unique, that ensures only unique member names are present in an enumeration.
Flake8 is a wrapper around PyFlakes, pycodestyle, and Ned's McCabe script. It runs all the tools by launching the single flake8 script, and displays the warnings in a per-file, merged output. It also adds a few features: files that contain "# flake8: noqa" are skipped, lines that contain a "# noqa" comment at the end will not issue warnings, Git and Mercurial hooks are included, a McCabe complexity checker is included, and it is extendable through flake8.extension entry points.
Flake8 plugin for checking order of imports in Python code.
flake8-polyfill is a package that provides some compatibility helpers for Flake8 plugins that intend to support Flake8 2.x and 3.x simultaneously.
This package contains classes to create WSGI servers in python, e.g. fastcgi.
