DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) is a protocol which allows individual devices on an IP network to get their own network configuration information (IP address, subnetmask, broadcast address, etc.) from a DHCP server. The overall purpose of DHCP is to make it easier to administer a large network. This package provides the ISC DHCP relay agent.

The dhcpcd package provides a minimalistic network configuration daemon that supports IPv4 and IPv6 configuration including configuration discovery through NDP, DHCPv4 and DHCPv6 protocols.
Dhcping allows the system administrator to check if a remote DHCP server is still functioning.
The Dia drawing program can be used to draw different types of diagrams, and includes support for UML static structure diagrams (class diagrams), entity relationship modeling, and network diagrams. Dia can load and save diagrams to a custom file format, can load and save in .xml format, and can export to PostScript(TM).
Dialog is a utility that allows you to show dialog boxes (containing questions or messages) in TTY (text mode) interfaces. Dialog is called from within a shell script. The following dialog boxes are implemented: yes/no, menu, input, message, text, info, checklist, radiolist, and gauge. Install dialog if you would like to create TTY dialog boxes.
