This package contains documented rpm spec templates showcasing how to use the macros provided by fonts-rpm-macros to create fonts packages.
This package provides SRPM-stage rpm automation to simplify the creation of fonts packages. It limits itself to the automation subset required to create fonts SRPM packages and needs to be included in the default build root. The rest of the automation is provided by the fonts-rpm-macros package, that fonts-srpm-macros will pull in for fonts packages only.
fontTools is a library for manipulating fonts, written in Python. The project includes the TTX tool, that can convert TrueType and OpenType fonts to and from an XML text format, which is also called TTX. It supports TrueType, OpenType, AFM and to an extent Type 1 and some Mac-specific formats.
Foomatic is a comprehensive, spooler-independent database of printers, printer drivers, and driver descriptions. This package contains utilities to generate driver description files and printer queues for CUPS, LPD, LPRng, and PDQ using the database (packaged separately). There is also the possibility to read the PJL options out of PJL-capable laser printers and take them into account at the driver description file generation. There are spooler-independent command line interfaces to manipulate queues (foomatic-configure) and to print files/manipulate jobs (foomatic printjob). The site http://www.linuxprinting.org/ is based on this database.
This is the database of printers, printer drivers, and driver options for Foomatic. The site http://www.openprinting.org/ is based on this database.
