python3-networking-sfc-15.0.0-1.lbn36.noarch
This project provides APIs and implementations to support Service Function
Chaining in Neutron.
Service Function Chaining is a mechanism for overriding the basic destination
based forwarding that is typical of IP networks. It is conceptually related to
Policy Based Routing in physical networks but it is typically thought of as a
Software Defined Networking technology. It is often used in conjunction with
security functions although it may be used for a broader range of features.
Fundamentally SFC is the ability to cause network packet flows to route through
a network via a path other than the one that would be chosen by routing table
lookup on the packet's destination IP address. It is most commonly used in
conjunction with Network Function Virtualization when recreating in a virtual
environment a series of network functions that would have traditionally been
implemented as a collection of physical network devices connected in series by
cables.

python3-neutron-21.0.0-1.lbn36.noarch
Neutron is a virtual network service for Openstack. Just like
OpenStack Nova provides an API to dynamically request and configure
virtual servers, Neutron provides an API to dynamically request and
configure virtual networks. These networks connect "interfaces" from
other OpenStack services (e.g., virtual NICs from Nova VMs). The
Neutron API supports extensions to provide advanced network
capabilities (e.g., QoS, ACLs, network monitoring, etc.)
This package contains the Neutron Python library.

python3-nova-26.1.0-1.lbn36.noarch
OpenStack Compute (codename Nova) is open source software designed to
provision and manage large networks of virtual machines, creating a
redundant and scalable cloud computing platform. It gives you the
software, control panels, and APIs required to orchestrate a cloud,
including running instances, managing networks, and controlling access
through users and projects. OpenStack Compute strives to be both
hardware and hypervisor agnostic, currently supporting a variety of
standard hardware configurations and seven major hypervisors.
This package contains the nova Python library.
