libtool-2.4.6-43.lbn25.x86_64: GNU Libtool is a set of shell scripts which automatically configure UNIX and UNIX-like systems to generically build shared libraries. Libtool provides a consistent, portable interface which simplifies the process of using shared libraries. If you are developing programs which will use shared libraries, but do not use the rest of the GNU Autotools (such as GNU Autoconf and GNU Automake), you should install the libtool package. The libtool package also includes all files needed to integrate the GNU Portable Library Tool (libtool) and the GNU Libtool Dynamic Module Loader (ltdl) into a package built using the GNU Autotools (including GNU Autoconf and GNU Automake).

libtommath-1.0-4.lbn25.x86_64: A free open source portable number theoretic multiple-precision integer library written entirely in C. (phew!). The library is designed to provide a simple to work with API that provides fairly efficient routines that build out of the box without configuration.

libtomcrypt-1.18.2-3.lbn25.x86_64: A comprehensive, modular and portable cryptographic toolkit that provides developers with a vast array of well known published block ciphers, one-way hash functions, chaining modes, pseudo-random number generators, public key cryptography and a plethora of other routines. Designed from the ground up to be very simple to use. It has a modular and standard API that allows new ciphers, hashes and PRNGs to be added or removed without change to the overall end application. It features easy to use functions and a complete user manual which has many source snippet examples.

libtirpc-1.2.5-1.rc2.lbn25.x86_64: This package contains SunLib's implementation of transport-independent RPC (TI-RPC) documentation. This library forms a piece of the base of Open Network Computing (ONC), and is derived directly from the Solaris 2.3 source. TI-RPC is an enhanced version of TS-RPC that requires the UNIX System V Transport Layer Interface (TLI) or an equivalent X/Open Transport Interface (XTI). TI-RPC is on-the-wire compatible with the TS-RPC, which is supported by almost 70 vendors on all major operating systems. TS-RPC source code (RPCSRC 4.0) remains available from several internet sites.

libtiff-4.1.0-2.lbn25.x86_64: The libtiff package contains a library of functions for manipulating TIFF (Tagged Image File Format) image format files. TIFF is a widely used file format for bitmapped images. TIFF files usually end in the .tif extension and they are often quite large. The libtiff package should be installed if you need to manipulate TIFF format image files.

libtheora-1.1.1-30.lbn25.x86_64: Theora is Xiph.Org's first publicly released video codec, intended for use within the Ogg's project's Ogg multimedia streaming system. Theora is derived directly from On2's VP3 codec; Currently the two are nearly identical, varying only in encapsulating decoder tables in the bitstream headers, but Theora will make use of this extra freedom in the future to improve over what is possible with VP3.

It includes important Thai-specific functions e.g. word breaking, input and output methods as well as basic character and string supports.

Tevent has support for many event types, including timers, signals, and the classic file descriptor events. libstemmer-0-12.585svn.lbn25.x86_64: Snowball stemming algorithms for use in Information Retrieval Snowball provides access to efficient algorithms for calculating a "stemmed" form of a word. This is a form with most of the common morphological endings removed; hopefully representing a common linguistic base form. This is most useful in building search engines and information retrieval software; for example, a search with stemming enabled should be able to find a document containing "cycling" given the query "cycles". Snowball provides algorithms for several (mainly European) languages. It also provides access to the classic Porter stemming algorithm for English: although this has been superseded by an improved algorithm, the original algorithm may be of interest to information retrieval researchers wishing to reproduce results of earlier experiments.
