libxmlb-0.3.19-3.lbn36.x86_64: XML is slow to parse and strings inside the document cannot be memory mapped as they do not have a trailing NUL char. The libxmlb library takes XML source, and converts it to a structured binary representation with a deduplicated string table -- where the strings have the NULs included. This allows an application to mmap the binary XML file, do an XPath query and return some strings without actually parsing the entire document. This is all done using (almost) zero allocations and no actual copying of the binary data.

libxml2-2.10.3-2.lbn36.x86_64: This library allows to manipulate XML files. It includes support to read, modify and write XML and HTML files. There is DTDs support this includes parsing and validation even with complex DtDs, either at parse time or later once the document has been modified. The output can be a simple SAX stream or and in-memory DOM like representations. In this case one can use the built-in XPath and XPointer implementation to select sub nodes or ranges. A flexible Input/Output mechanism is available, with existing HTTP and FTP modules and combined to an URI library.

libxklavier-5.4-20.fc36.x86_64: libxklavier is a library providing a high-level API for the X Keyboard Extension (XKB). This library is intended to support XFree86 and other commercial X servers. It is useful for creating XKB-related software (layout indicators etc).

libxcrypt-compat-4.4.33-4.fc36.x86_64: This package contains the library providing the compatibility API for applications that are linked against glibc's libxcrypt, or that are still using the unsafe and deprecated, encrypt, encrypt_r, setkey, setkey_r, and fcrypt functions, which are still required by recent versions of POSIX, the Single UNIX Specification, and various other standards. All existing binary executables linked against glibc's libcrypt should work unmodified with the library supplied by this package.

libxcrypt-4.4.33-4.fc36.x86_64: libxcrypt is a modern library for one-way hashing of passwords. It supports a wide variety of both modern and historical hashing methods: yescrypt, gost-yescrypt, scrypt, bcrypt, sha512crypt, sha256crypt, md5crypt, SunMD5, sha1crypt, NT, bsdicrypt, bigcrypt, and descrypt. It provides the traditional Unix crypt and crypt_r interfaces, as well as a set of extended interfaces pioneered by Openwall Linux, crypt_rn, crypt_ra, crypt_gensalt, crypt_gensalt_rn, and crypt_gensalt_ra. libxcrypt is intended to be used by login(1), passwd(1), and other similar programs; that is, to hash a small number of passwords during an interactive authentication dialogue with a human. It is not suitable for use in bulk password-cracking applications, or in any other situation where speed is more important than careful handling of sensitive data. However, it is intended to be fast and lightweight enough for use in servers that must field thousands of login attempts per minute. This version of the library does not provide the legacy API functions that have been provided by glibc's libcrypt.so.1.
